Deep in the heart of West Texas, Galecstasy explodes with an improvised quartet performance outside of Marfa Open Gallery during Chinati Weekend 2021 in Marfa, Texas. The duo's standard lineup was expanded to include friends, collaborators, and boundary-expanding Austin luminaries Jonathan Horne and Lisa Cameron creating a bombastic, morphing barrage of sound in the spirit of Bitches Brew and Sun Ra cast out into the spacious night sky. This was one of three performances, including the ambitious Animal Ballet, orchestrated by Galecstasy during their month long residency in Marfa where they were named "Artist Of The Year" for the Marfa Open Arts Festival 2021
